Alfred Bartello is senior vice president of sales and marketing for LPS' Empower loan origination division. His team is responsible for all system sales across a diverse product line. Empower’s client base represents 22 percent of the top 100 lenders, including many of the nation's leading subprime and builder owned mortgage companies.
Prior to the acquisition of Empower in October 2002, Bartello was one of three managing principles of the acquired company, Eastern Software Corporation. Bartello started his career with Eastern Software in August 1986, and successfully pioneered sales of the Eastern product line through four platform changes over a twenty-year period. In the last five years, the Empower product has earned top honors as the most widely used loan origination system in the nation’s top 100 lending institutions.
Prior to Eastern Software, Bartello achieved leading sales recognition in accounting system products from 1982 to 1983 with Monroe Systems for Business. From 1983 to 1985, Bartello served as Eastern Region Manager for accounting system sales, where it was awarded the number one position out of five regions.
Bartello has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from William Paterson University, Wayne, NJ. He resides in Laguna Hills, CA with his wife and three children.
