William (Bill) Cary serves as Director, Strategic Consulting Services, for Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS), the nation’s leading provider of mortgage processing services, settlement services, mortgage performance analytics and outsourcing services for financial institutions, mortgage companies and real estate professionals. More than 50 percent of all U.S. residential mortgages are processed using LPS’ servicing software.

Bill is responsible for the mortgage origination solutions practice within LPS’ Strategic Consulting Services group. In this capacity, Bill is responsible for service delivery of strategic consulting services for LPS client engagements related to mortgage origination and origination fulfillment. 

Bill joined LPS after an extensive career in mortgage originations with some of the top mortgage lenders in the country, including HomeBanc Mortgage, CitiMortgage, HomeSide Lending and Norwest Mortgage. Bill has senior and executive management experience supporting retail, wholesale, correspondent and private-label fulfillment operations at a national level. 

Through Bill’s 24 years of industry experience, he has gained an excellent knowledge of leading teams to deliver service results, driving efficiencies and improved cycle times in mortgage operations, P&L management and using technology to automate and improve business performance.
