Bruce Watterson is a Managing Director for LPS Applied Analytics, primarily responsible for the Capital Markets group. The Capital Markets group provides due diligence, portfolio stratification and other consulting services to buyers and sellers of financial assets including residential mortgage whole loan pools, commercial loans, and other similar assets.

Watterson formed Watterson-Prime Software, Inc. in 1999, a software and technology company providing clients with tools and consulting services for data analysis, data integrity testing, data warehousing, and financial modeling, especially for the asset backed finance industry. This company was also sold as a part of the transaction with FIS/LPS.

Watterson’s prior experience includes positions within two highly respected investment banks where he was responsible for whole loan transactions, risk management and pipeline hedging, and asset backed securitizations. In addition, from 2001 to 2005, Mr. Watterson was a managing director for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he was responsible for the due diligence practice for PwC. 

Watterson received his B.A. degree at Miami University, Ohio. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Standard Pacific Mortgage, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Standard Pacific Corp, the twelfth largest home builder in the United States.
