Flood Zone Determinations

Get the most current Flood Zone Determination with all the available FEMA flood hazard information.

LPS National Flood Basic Flood Zone Determination w/Base Flood Elevation
Flood Zone Determination includes FEMA map information, Flood Zone, BFE, NFIP status and entry date. Also provided is Census Tract data, Coastal Barrier Resource Area (CoBRA) and Letter of Map Change (LOMC) effective dates, where applicable.  This product is covered by our full guarantee and is available via our secure website and a variety of standard or custom interfaces.

Grandfathered Flood Zone Determinations

A “grandfathered” flood zone determination is one that uses Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) that reflect prior conditions for the subject property. The historical flood hazard information comes bundled with an exhibit of the subject property’s location on the prior FIRM in effect, formatted for direct submission to FEMA for consideration of insurance premium discounts. These determinations are always completed manually by our senior map technicians.

Community Data

Community Data is an automated product that provides FEMA Community Name, Community Number, Map Panel Number with Suffix, Map Effective Date, NFIP Participation Status, County Name and County FIPS Code. This product is available via XML standard and custom connections.

A variety of mapping tools are available to assist in identifying property locations, proximity to risk, and insurance availability.

FIS Flood MapCopy - Street View

Our Flood MapCopy product contains all the data elements from the LPS National Flood Basic Flood Zone Determination, and includes a digital color image of the FEMA flood map overlaid with the latest street data. Aerial images can now be added to the map for an additional fee. MapCopy is covered by our full guarantee, and is available via our secure website and a variety of standard or custom interfaces. The majority of these requests will be available immediately; those that require manual work are generally available within a few hours.

FIS Flood MapCopy - Aerial View

Our Flood MapCopy - Aerial View product contains all the data elements from the LPS National Flood Basic Flood Zone Determination, and includes a digital color image of the FEMA Flood map overlaid with the latest street data and aerial satellite imagery. MapCopy is covered by our full guarantee, and is available via our secure website and a variety of standard or custom interfaces. The majority of these requests will be available immediately; those that require manual work are generally available within a few hours..

 FIS Flood MapCopy Premium

Flood MapCopy Premium contains all the data elements from the LPS National Flood Basic Flood Zone Determination, combines the digital map elements of both the Street View and Aerial View MapCopy products and includes additional indication of hazards within 500 feet of the subject property. MapCopy Premium is covered by our full guarantee, and is available via our secure Web site and a variety of standard or custom interfaces. The majority of these requests will be available immediately; those that require manual work are generally available within a few hours.

FIS Advanced Flood MapCopy/ Complete Resolution w/Map Exhibits

This is our most extensive product and is always completed manually by one of our senior map technicians. This is the ultimate dispute resolution mapping product. Included with this product is an LPS National Flood Basic Flood Zone Determination, either a digital or scanned image of the FEMA flood map with the subject property boundaries drawn in, and a variety of supporting documentation such as plat maps, aerial images, assessors info, legal descriptions, and other similar data that is available.

Portfolio Review and Analysis

Analyze an entire portfolio of properties and enhance your risk management posture. LPS National Flood will analyze properties provided within a portfolio or batch; the following services are available:

  1. “Yes” or “No” that the property address is “in” a flood zone requiring flood insurance and the distance to a Special Flood Hazard Area.
  2. All flood compliance data; FEMA map information, Flood Zone, BFE, NFIP status and entry date, Census Tract, LOMC and CoBRA effective dates, etc.
  3. Same as #2 with the addition of LPS National Flood MapCopy (street or aerial) product for each of the property addresses within the portfolio.

Elevation Certificates
