With information directly from the Social Security Administration, the Internal Revenue Service and employers, LPS completes the verification of identity, income and employment quickly and assuredly.

The identity verification report can include Social Security number (SSN) assignment verification from the government; any presence on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Watch List; an SSN trace that includes date and state of issuance;  an SSA death master file check; and a list of aliases and addresses reported.

The income verification report can include an IRS 1040 personal income tax returns; 1065 and 1120 business income returns; a W-2 employer reported wages report; a 1099 self-employed income for; verification of tax filing; and a record of account/transcript of account, which is a history of transactions with IRS.

LPS will complete a verbal verification of employment on your behalf within one to three days. Included with your report is commentary from our skilled consultants indicating any suspicious activity during the phone call to the borrower’s stated employer.
