Auto-Index has been specifically designed to increase productivity, improve data accuracy and consistency in the process of indexing data in the
ShowCase court case management solution and in the
Acclaim recording system.
When using Auto-Index, the number of manual keystrokes for entering index data is drastically reduced, allowing the indexer’s attention to shift to verification and quality assurance while processing more documents. These benefits are specifically gained by a technique called “auto-indexing”. Using this “auto-indexing” method, the software intelligently reads every scanned document and is able to perform additional tasks.

- Identifies data for indexing

- Automatically extracts relevant recorded information such as grantor(s), grantee(s), legal description, related documents, return-to address and other state-defined fields, regardless of where the information resides in the document
- Presents the auto-indexed document and corresponding image to the user for verification
- Automatically extracts relevant document data and populates the information in the appropriate fields in an integrated application
- Walks the user through the verification process by automatically finding and highlighting the extracted information in the displayed image
- Allows the user to approve the data or to use the Auto-Index “rubber-band” feature to extract the data directly from the document
- Provides an exception-based workflow process for image quality and staff questions
- Sends the approved data directly to external applications
