LPS ESCROW SERVICES
LPS works with each lender to provide the escrow services that meet their specific needs. Escrow services with LPS may include any or all of the following functions:
- Review of preliminary report/commitment
- Clearance of preliminary title report/commitment or other title products
- Preparation of estimated HUD-1 Settlement Statement
- Review of and ordering insurance
- Preparation of escrow instructions
- Review of loan documents
- Scheduling of loan-signing date, place and time
- Validation of all parties’ identities
- Witness execution
- Acknowledgment of documents
- Funding and disbursement of escrowed funds
- Scanning of signed loan documents
- Review for recordability
- Filing of mortgage
